About our instructor:

Dawn Schmidt is a Licensed Massage Therapist, educator, consultant, and artist.  She has been practicing massage in Washington State since 1991, serving the health and well-being interests of her clients.  An experienced and credentialed educator, currently teaching continuing education courses including Ethics, Advanced Massage Applications, and Business Practices.  She has been influential in the profession at the local, state, and national levels.  Dawn has championed the profession through volunteering on interdisciplinary and insurance workgroups, consulting and contributing to research activities, and serving on the professions educational commission, professional body of knowledge task force, and professional association committees.  Dawn is passionate about massage and exalts the value of massage.  She believes in the profound healing power of touch as a mechanism for integrating body, mind, and spirit.
